Columbian DJ, producer and owner of the Cat Angry label, AFM 
marks his Piston Recordings debut with a solid quartet of tracks 
on his Unforgettable EP. Having started his musical career in 
2009, producing tribal grooves, AFM turned his attention to more 
tech infused sounds in 2011. From then, he started to release 
material on several labels, including the legendary Nervous 
Records among others. Collaborations with the likes of Eddie 
Amador soon followed, and he achieved success on top download 
and streaming portals. In 2015 he re-branded himself as AFM and 
became a name synonymous with quality music in his home country 
with several releases on House Cookin Records. Great to have him 
on board. 

The EP begins with the title track, Unforgettable. A nice, 
punchy kick gets us moving as hypnotic percussions linger. Raw 
chords fade up, generating an urban vibe, before a deep, 
charging bassline takes over. Laced with oldskool flavour, this 
one is a must have to get the party rocking. In My Mind is up 
next, dishing out a groovy, dreamy vibe. Warm beats and lush 
basses caress the groove as cool, clubby vocals come through. 
Bright, classic style pianos complete the construction, adding 
style to proceedings, not to be missed. Talk To About Love takes 
us deeper, adding a more refined sound to the ep. Beautifully 
crafted drums, filled with classic sounds, drive the groove 
while trippy pads and hi strings take over the spectrum. A 
solid, chunky bassline controls the low end, forcing those hips 
to sway, top-notch stuff. Behind The Shadows concludes the 
release, delivering a vibrant, upbeat kinda vibe. The drums 
stand out brilliantly, with a prominent kick at the centre 
becoming infectious which means you simply must move to the 
beat. Shuffling percussions add rhythm as warm chords are joined 
by airy pads. Rich and groovy, this one will put a smile on the 
faces in the crowd.
