      Apart from boasting one of the best names for a new label, Mr Banger     
     also stands out due to its support for new talent. BEQA is an emerging    
      producer from Georgia, and Standalone is a veritable smorgasbord of      
     sonic treats. "Hold" revolves around a low-slung groove, peppered with    
     good-time samples. In contrast, the title track is a linear tech house    
      cut. On "Toy Boy", BEQA ups the tempo to deliver a stepping workout,     
     one that features lithe break beats and lo-fi organ riffs. Keeping the    
      listener guessing to the end, "Week End 2" is a tripped out groove,      
                            fuelled by a funk bass.
