Already an iconic figure in the underground dance fraternity, 
Dmitry Molosh now takes another leap forward with the creation 
of his Proportion record label. Created as vehicle to showcase 
the Belarusian's extraordinary talent alongside an array of 
high-profile and rising names, Proportion launches with an 
eponymously titled EP with an original track from Dmitry himself 
plus a remix from Finnish legend, Cid Inc.

Dmitry Molosh has presided over a stellar career path. Rising 
rapidly to global prominence from his Belarus home, Dmitry has 
witnessed a steep upwards trajectory where his music has reached 
out across nation boundaries, engaging listeners with a 
distinctive, powerful and forward-thinking sound. Over 500 
production credits can thus be credited to the Dmitry Molosh 
name as he continues to find his musical talents in considerable 
demand. Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Gai Barone's Afterglow, 
Nick Warren's Hope and Cid Inc.'s Replug have all showcased the 
Belarusian's distinctive sound, while US leviathan Proton Music 
has also featured an array of original and remix material. 
Supported by the DJ glitterati that include Guy J, Guy Mantzur 
and Khen, alongside the celebrated label heads, Dmitry Molosh 
now opens his account on Proportion.

The title track of the same name is a stunning affair. Redolent 
in the trademark characteristics that have made him such a 
sought-after producer, a chest-thumping kick anchors a glorious, 
head-shaking bass groove and woodblock percussion. Ticking 
hi-hats add to the collage as a beautifully imagined synth motif 
filters its way across the 8-minute piece. A further bassline 
adds weight and dynamism before a stripped back breakdown 
creates a gateway for a rousing crescendo of white-noise and 
pitched effects. These then pave the way for the sultry bassline 
cadence and synth line so prominent in the early stages, to work 
their magic once more in the second half.

Cid Inc. require little introduction to the underground dance 
faithful. A legendary figure for two decades, the Finnish star 
has been responsible for entertaining audiences around the world 
with his immaculately crafted DJ sets while creating some the 
finest moments in modern electronic music history. Seeing his 
work featured on legion luminary imprints that includes the 
likes Lost and Found, Einmusika JEE Productions and Sudbeat 
Music, the latter saw Dmitry Molosh and Cid Inc. join forces on 
August 2021's Impending Storm to devastating effect. Cid Inc.'s 
own Replug label has also been a potent vehicle for his own 
music while furthering the musical careers of a plethora of 
other artists who have gone on to become dominant forces in the 
global dance music arena.

An esteemed music engineer and renowned producer, the Cid Inc. 
remix of Proportion is characterised by an intricate and dynamic 
percussive groove that propels the track forward. Accompanied by 
a hypnotic bassline sequence and similarly mesmerising arpeggio, 
melodic elements for the original ripple to the fore in a 
sublime atmospheric collage. Smooth pads and white-noise 
flourishes build before falling away to a spine-tingling drop, 
as the rhythmic and bassline foundation provide a club-friendly 
closing section.
