Following the release of Figi and San Proper's debut collaborative
album, the label has commissioned remixes of the standout tracks.
Like-minded producer Tom Trago refocuses on the dance floor for his
take on "A Place For Love". Crisp snares and lush chords unfold over a
chugging groove, with ponderous vocals bubbling to the surface. On his
reshape of "Alive", Seth Troxler ventures down a dubby path; over a
hypnotic, scuffled rhythm, the US producer layers in the original
track's soulful vocal and dreamy textures. The label owners provide
the other interpretations; on "Speakers Go Pop", Guti drops squalling
guitar licks over a rolling groove, while David Gtronic's version of
"Let It Bleed" is a funk-led workout, underpinned by tight drums and
insistent synth stabs.
