You'll struggle to find a more colourful, tropical and hard-to- 
pigeonhole set than Flamingo Pier's self-titled debut, a kaleidoscopic 
affair that was one of our favourite releases of 2021. With such 
vibrant source material to mine, you'd expect this EP of fresh remixes 
to be equally as alluring. It is, of course, with Demi Riquisimo's 
rework of 'Cosmic Sunset' delivering a perfectly pitched blend of 
undulating, ambient techno style acid lines, stabbing bass, spacey 
chords, sun-bright electronics and busy beats. Bristol house star Sean 
McCabe provides two revisions of KEDU and Nathan Haines collaboration 
'Last Call': a classy, musically rich, jazz-funk-tinged deep house 
'Remix' and a simply stunning beat-free 'Reprise' version that's as 
gorgeous as it is gently jazzy.
