Eastenderz drop the funk via Blame Rory & Kimono Cam's Funk Cartel
project and this bouncing five-track EP. With held-down basslines all-
round, there's a slight science fictions '90s trance vibe inflected
onto the lead cut "Quasi", with subtle acid and disco vibes thrown
into "What You Want". As if delving deeper and deeper into tech house
territory by the track, "Up & Up" lets sustained strings build tension
into a classic, pumping bassline drop, while "Blueprint" looks toward
Detroit for its house flavour before simmering it back down to that
classic, 90s trance-meets-house-and-acid sound in "Don't You Stop".
