      This release has been created with the intention to raise awareness      
     and funds for a beautiful project to protect important ancestral lands    
     of the Wirikuta peoples of Mexico. If we can help raise enough money,     
     together we can help protect 500 + acres of ancestral gardens that are    
     now at risk of being destroyed by agricultural & mining companies. You

     Here are some words from Iyakuh who is the main producer of the music     
                    and one of the leaders of this project:                    

      The past 6 months I have been weaving to support the protection of      
       Wirikuta the Wixrika ( Huichol ) ancestral gardens. We have been       
      working with permission from elder Don Rafa & Wix musicians Miguel      
      Carillo / Enrique Ramirez to record their traditional music. As well     
     as filming & capturing interviews in their village in the Sierra Madre    
      Occidental range of Mexico. With permission from the Marakames I was     
       able to capture some of their traditional instrument loops in the       
      studio & create an electronic dance fusion EP. I was very excited to     
       have the support of my brothers JPool & Jakare to weave on these       
     tracks. We will also be releasing a series of videos / albums of their    
      traditional acoustic music soon. The intention of this project is to     
     find ways to spread awareness of what is happening now at Wirikuta. I     
      am deeply grateful for my brother NIDO FILMS who traveled a long way     
                       with me to Mexico to capture foota
