             An impressive figure with a dynamic sound, Jiminy Hop marks his 
             return to Meanwhile. With a second original EP for the label in 
             2022, Levera / Agmoli demonstrates an impressive production 
             talent.

             From the Siberian Altay Region, Konstantin Kuranakov has cast a 
             bright light over the progressive house community with his 
             Jiminy Hop production alter-ego. Now ensconced in his adopted St 
             Petersburg home, the Russian artist has risen in stature and 
             status over a 7-year production career after a debut for Smart 
             Phenomena Records in late 2015. Work signed to Juicebox Music, 
             Art Vibes Music, Where The Heart Is and Plaisirs Sonores have 
             all followed, while March 2022's 3-track Johlin for GMJ and 
             Matter's imprint was a notable highlight for the label.

             Now returning with a twin track EP of the highest order, Levera 
             is a typically strong opener as swung shakers sit in parallel to 
             deep kick and offbeat snare. A rich bassline groove adds 
             head-shaking accent before stereo-panned synths and white-noise 
             risers create a rousing floor-filling vibe. Evolving steadily, 
             an array of effects and layered motifs add the melodic harmony. 
             A shimmering breakdown creates a hand-in-the-air moment as 
             Levera once more drops into its tight club-friendly groove where 
             rhythm and melody combine in sumptuous and powerful fashion.

             Agmoli contains the same rhythmic vibrancy as its partner track 
             as a rolling groove meanders its way across a 9-minute piece 
             brim full of vivacity with its shakers and chest-thumping beat. 
             Before long a glorious array of twinkling arpeggios and 
             complementary synth motifs enter the sonic arena, accompanied by 
             a smooth bass groove. Flowing into the breakdown, a sustained 
             rasping bassline comes to the fore in majestic fashion 
             accompanied by breathy vocal pads and delayed effects. Hitting 
             its stride once more in the third movement, Agmoli sparks into 
             life with melodic and rhythmic elements combining in pure 
             dancefloor majesty.

             Two tracks of the highest order in Levera / Agmoli illustrate 
             why Jiminy Hop continues his unhindered rise to the upper 
             echelons of the electronic music industry and progressive house 
             genre.
