Mance's 'Passing The Impassable' delivers an inspired exploration of
breakbeats and atmosphere, perfectly suited to Time Is Now's cutting-
edge lineup. We open up with the 'Come Rudeboy' mix of 'Passing The
Impassable', a dancefloor-inspired chop through bumping drums moody
subs, before 'Hornet's Nest' arrives with a more broken-beat, sliced
up feeling. From here, the Oxide mix of 'Can I?' takes us down another
boppy avenue, focussing on minimal bass licks with tidy backdrops to
match, before closing on the skippy percussive pops of 'Verbal Glock'
for a fabulous final landing. Great work across the board and another
wicked addition to a top draw catalogue.
