         Marcellus Pittman first appeared on Acid Test's 10 Years Of...        
        compilation and Facid Trunktion is the latest iteration of this        
      somewhat unlikely alliance. Followers of the Detroit house producer      
         will find much to love in the title track's dense, off-kilter         
      percussion and snappy drums - signature elements that set him apart      
      from his peers. On "Sanskrit Body Rock", he makes a nod to the Acid      
      Test in-house sound, with gurgling 303s unfolding over spiky hi hats     
      and tough kicks. "Ask It Acid" further cements his relationship with     
       the label; more direct and linear than Pittman's typical approach,      
                   it's shot through with a grimy acid line.
