Maskim is not new to Goldmin, although he hasnt had anything out on 
the label for 8 years. His first Ep, remixed by Musaria and Brutkho 
was the 7th release on the label and Goldmin was only 1 year old at 
that time. Then we picked "Santal" on the first Goldmin VA "Goldmin 
Theme". Back in 2007, there was a huge wave of a certain kind of 
techno going on. Some were calling it "neo-trance", some opted for the 
term "melodic techno". Artists like Extrawelt, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, 
Dusty Kid, James Holden and Paul Kalkbrenner were some of the heroes 
of it. That wave, which surely had roots in other forms of electronic 
music reached several countries and for some reasons, south of France. 
Several clubs were booking these artists around Marseille and 
Montpellier and that's right at that time, that Maxime found his early 
musical identity. Strongly influenced both by these specific building 
structures and the sound that went with it, he has been working hard
