        Scruniversal have hit a real run of form of late and this latest       
        offering from Nova Disco Club can safely be filed under "utterly       
     essential", as the Russian producer reminds us all what proper garage     
       sounds like! If you'd told this ageing snob that either 'The Funky      
       Phantom' or 'Basis' were long-lost DATs recently discovered in the      
       basement of Eightball or Movin' Records, I'd have totally believed      
      you...both have that New Jersey bump 'n' shuffle down to a fine art,     
        with 'The Funky Phantom' the pacier and busier of the two while        
       'Basis' is a bit more stripped-back and bottom-heavy. Outstanding       
                                     stuff!
