We welcome Portuguese music producer and multi-instrumentalist Paulo 
Coutinho back to Piston Recordings under his latest guise, Paul Matic 
with the superb Doubt EP. Also known as LUS, it was in the late 80's - 
when he heard some acid house, that his path was chosen. From that 
moment on he dedicated himself to house music. Since 2016 he has been 
churning out serious beats on various labels and his trademark sound 
lies within Deep and Tech House. Great to see him back with his new 
venture. 

We kick off the EP with the vibrant, Doubt. A solid, peak-time 
groover, the track flows effortlessly with tight beats and mesmerizing 
pads. Cool vocals add an intriguing narrative as atmospheric sounds 
build. A deep, low-end bass rumbles along, galvanising the groove to 
keep the hips swaying. Hacked is up next, going deeper into the abyss 
with a rich and dynamic groove. Nice, chunky beats lead the way 
alongside rhythmic percussions while infectious, trippy vocals weave
