Italian DJ and producer Paul Older steps out of the realm of re-edits
and into the world of original productions with his debut EP,
"Reborn," on the highly respected Toy Tonics label. "Reborn" marks a
departure from Older's usual fare of reworked gems. Here, he utilizes
recordings from real musicians and bands, breathing new life into them
through his masterful production. The result? Four tracks of pure,
organic dancefloor dynamite. The EP kicks off with the electrifying
"Guapita." Relentless synth-horn refrains intertwine with a loopy
disco-house beat, instantly setting the mood for a joyous dance
experience. The energy continues with "Keep On," a horn-heavy,
Blaxploitation-inspired funk bomb that will have heads nodding and
feet moving. Older demonstrates his versatility on "I Like It, I Want
It (Extended Mix)." This track seamlessly blends house music's
