Phonk D is always up for musical collaborations and over time some
have accumulated on the hard drive. It's a logical conclusion to make
a collection out of it and here we present the first part.
On "Connie" Phonk D joins forces with Lukas Lehmann who is a familiar
face on Footjob already.
A percussive sample stomper with subtle vocal chops for groovy dance
nights, perfect to switch from warmup to peaktime.
"Tribute To Miami" is a collaboration with Frankfurt's Le Rubrique,
who has also made an appearance on Footjob with his Flying Circus
collabo EP already. Old synths were dusted to create a typical 90s
oldschool house vibe. During their session they noticed that it sounds
strongly like Murk so they added atmospheric vocals to pay even more
tribute to the classic Miami label.
The third track "On The Edge" presents a driving house bumper which
features Darmstadt's finest bass player Grgoire Pignde from the
