A collaborative release by by two record labels here: Leipzig's
R.A.N.D. and Echocentric. Pletnev's And You Never Come Back consists
of four tracks that are mind-bending, bold and meant for curious
dancers to explore. The Lithuanian producer's modular beats and
rhythmic refrains are an invitation for listeners to experience the
tracks and let the music move them. The trance-influenced euphoria of
"Bass Covered With Gold" opens up the EP, going further into the
galactic on the even more psychedelic "Average Monday" and hammering
the message home with the peak time techno cut "Am I Looking At Two
Similar Cats?".
