             We welcome Ritz back to Piston Recordings to continue our Autumn 
             series with the superb Wanna Do This EP. This one follows his 
             last effort - Undefeated EP, which was very well received 
             indeed, and no doubt we have another winner here. Ritz remains a 
             stalwart for us at the label, he never disappoints with his 
             productions and always throws in new twists in his sound. From 
             his early days as M0u53 to now, he's released a ton of material 
             across several labels, and he's not done yet. Always a pleasure 
             having him here.

             Wanna Do This opens the release, setting the tone for the EP 
             with a distinct jackin' groove flavour. Punchy kicks and 
             shuffling percussions lay the foundation for lush pads, thick 
             analogue basses and warm chord stabs. The track is capped with 
             cool spoken vocals which add character to the sound. Perfectly 
             executed stuff that is a must have. Did U? takes us deeper with 
             a sublime effort filled with rich analogue goodness. Mesmerizing 
             chord sequences and retro basses sit on a bed of rhythmic 
             percussions and tight beats. The 'did you do drugs today?' 
             narrative is a stand-out moment in the groove, catching the ear 
             and adding that finishing touch beautifully. Uniquely Aware 
             concludes the release, taking us much deeper into the deep house 
             sound. Phat beats and crispy percussions lead the way as 
             hypnotic pads rise up creating a wall of sound. We find an 
             intriguing spoken vocal which fits the groove, defining the 
             narrative brilliantly. The big moment is the highly infectious 
             303 laced analogue bassline which invokes all kinds of 
             nostalgia. A monster of a tune that is not to be missed.
