Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up" is a challenging song to update. The

original is a bona fide dancefloor anthem, playable at almost any

party, anywhereany new version needed to be funkier than the OG or

give it a whole new spin. Roog opted for the latter on his re-work,

giving the song a lush disco-house makeover. We particularly loved

Roog's vocal, and we wanted to hear how it would sound over a more

driving, hypnotic groove. Kevin McKay, always up for a challenge,

stepped up and delivered this loopy Moroder-ish disco cutup. We love

it!
