The Opulence label welcomes dream team pairing Ryan Crosson & label
boss Cali Lanauze for a fresh pair of stylish new tunes.
Call Me When You Want (RC Get Higher Mix) goes first and is
masterfully designed minimal house. The shuffling drum breaks are
overlaid with pensive chords and wispy melodies that bring a trippy
feel as the bass plunges low. Call Me When You Want (CL Get Low Mix)
floats even more in space, with drum loops that hang in the air and
circular synths that melt themed next to molten pads.
The pair come together again for Believe, a darker and late night
house cut with mysterious pads and intriguing vocals that drift in and
out. The vibe is a sensuous one that draws you in next to sax motifs
and rubbery bass rhythms. It's classy and full of style. Last of all,
Molly serves up a more direct remix with dub chords, crisp claps and
plenty of drive.
This is a superbly seductive offering from Opulence once again.
