We return, as we do every summer, to our favorite spot in the
Mediterranean to present the next release in Balearic style. In-house
producer Statues made his debut on MM Discos back in March last year
with the acclaimed EP "Lost Star". We have selected 2 tracks from this
release and handed them over to some of our 'usual suspects' to take
them in their own direction and print his own style.
Steve Carr and Gold Suite take the reins, reinterpreting "The
Becoming". Steve Carr crafts an extended version of the original,
adding diverse percussive elements that result in a straightforward
and effective rendition, more floor-friendly and perfect for any
Balearic-spirited DJ's arsenal.
Gold Suite, dj and producer who is growing day by day, decides for a
more personal passage, giving a new twist to the original and crafting
a track that for sure will be in more than 1 sunset session closing
this summer in Ibiza.
On the other hand, Vanity Project and James Bright are responsible for
remixing "Club Love". The london based prducer infuses a substantial
amount of dub to create a passage where its beauty lies in its
simplicityplain but solid and steady. James Bright, on the other
hand, takes the track to his own territory, making it more melodic and
dreamy but equally effective.
