From his base in the picturesque Fraser Valley in British Columbia,
Canada, Teen Daze (real name Jamison Isaak) has delivered a lot of
lovely music since making his debut 13 years ago. His output is
eclectic stylistically, but always deep, dreamy, tactile, quietly
colourful and deliciously atmospheric. He's on prime form on his first
EP of 2023, first adding languid jazz guitar solos to tactile chords,
warming pads and leisurely deep house beats on 'Back 2', before opting
for a chunkier, subtly TB-303-tinged sound on the hypnotic (but no
less beautiful) 'Natural Movement'. Isaak explores his love of glassy-
eyed Italian dream-house and loved-up late '80s synth-pop on
'Effected', before going ultra-deep on the Mood Hut-esque brilliance
of EP closer 'One For Paradise'.
