concept behind this tidy compilation - assuming there is one - but the
title suggests that the track-listing consists entirely of previously
unreleased cuts from artists they adore (sone label regulars, others
imprint debutants). Regardless of the story behind it, 'Fresh
Fandango' is packed to the rafters with ear-catching, floor-filling
fare. For proof, check the simultaneously funky and deliciously deep
'Smoking' by Melohman, the piano-powered peak-time 1990s house
nostalgia of Lost Boys' 'In My House', the St Germain-in-the-sunshine
flex of Barron's 'Sunshine', the percussion-rich Latin house joy of
Albert Sola's Kid Creole-sampling 'Carnival House' and the
kaleidoscopic dancefloor rush of 'Feel You' by Osner.
