      Having recently launched via a multi-artist EP, Lisbon-based Whoopee     
      Records delivers its' first solo EP - a fine four-track outing from      
     33-year-old debutant Guy From 1990, a producer clearly inspired by the    
     various musical movements and sounds that were popular at the dawn of     
     the '90s. Our hero opts for a sweat-soaked start via hip-hop sampling     
     acid jacker '87 Fantasy', all Frankie Knuckles style piano motifs and     
         twisted TB-303 motifs, before opting for a more loose-limbed,         
      percussively swinging acid house vibe on 'Acidozinho'. 'Cosmic Goby'     
      sees him blur the boundaries between Italo-house, Italo-disco, bleep     
     and acid, while 'Rebeldia', featuring spoken word vocals from Hael, is    
         a low-slung, piano-powered slab of breakbeat house nostalgia.
